First of all, I cannot believe that Maou is getting low ratings. WTF, Japan? This show is too much awesome, what else are you watching there that's better than this?! Please don't tell me that you can't recognize awesome even if it stared at you wearing Ohno's creepiest smirk.
This episode is... just... wow. I can't... words fail me! By default, I'm rooting for Toma because he's Toma. But the first three episodes one can't help but empathize with Ohno, soulless eyes and all. Then the last two episodes we were given reasons to care for Toma, too. He did suffer all these years, and he's taking all the blame now for the pain he had caused because he finally realized that everything is linked to the incident in his past.
And it was an accident. Sure he was such a mean bully and it was a sick joke to play, but he never intend to kill Hideo. What's telling is he could have told Shiori this when she asked and I'm sure she will believe him, but I think he knew that accident or not, he didn't deserve to get off from his culpability.
And Ohno. Ohno, Ohno. I just want to hug you and tell you that everything will be alright. He is showing a lot of emotions now, maybe he is regretting that he had dragged a lot of innocent people in his quest for revenge but he thinks it's too late to be stopped. Even if he wanted to. You know he wanted Shiori to stop him. And he wants her! He does!
But his plans are about to take a blow because someone discovered what he's hiding. But the preview for next week looks like he's about to turn the tables. Ohno is such a genius.
Is it too much to ask for a Toma shower scene? Yes? No? But everybody wants it, too!
